My Personal Experience

I had a neck injury in gymnastics when I was 14 that never really went away and ended my career as a gymnast. When I was 20 years old, I was diagnosed with Epstein-Bahr Virus and sent out of the doctor's office with a bottle of pills. After a few auto accidents and a back injury, my whole body was in agony. I was a 23 year old living in a 73 year old body. I had back and neck pain, headaches, TMJ syndrome, and all of my muscles ached. My physician diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia and sent me out the door with a bottle of pills.

I tried to work through the pain at the gym which is where I met the Neuromuscular Therapist that helped me shed a lot of the body pain. Since his technique helped me so much, I decided to enroll in the same school he went to. The only problem was that I was still only functioning at about 80% and still fighting all the symptoms.

I took a job at a chiropractor's office, and he offered me his services. I never even considered using a chiropractor because I new nothing about what they do and people "told me stories." How foolish was I to believe those stories because that chiropractor helped restore my health back to almost 100 percent! Through spinal adjustments and proper nutrition, I got my life back.

Now I am a chiropractor and I use all of the techniques in my practice that helped restore my health: Gentle and specific chiropractic adjustments for the spine, Neuromuscular Therapy for the muscles, and whole food nutrition and herbs to nourish and help heal the body. These techniques combined decrease the healing time for most physical problems such as back and neck pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, sciatica, headaches, Fibromyalgia and TMJ syndrome.
